NCAA Football 07, released on July 18, 2006, introduced a momentum meter that dynamically boosts team performance based on in-game plays. It also premiered the Campus Legend mode—an evolution of Race for the Heisman—complete with spring drills, a spring game, ESPN integration, and a full student-athlete experience including choosing a major, attending classes, and balancing academics with athletics.
