Gamers Go Retro was founded in 2010 in East Orlando (under the physical store name of Gamers Inc Orlando), right on the foundation of passion, community, and a deep love for all things gaming. Our journey began when two former employees of the iconic game store chain Play N Trade saw an opportunity to keep the spirit of gaming alive. With vision and determination, they purchased the remaining inventory and signed a lease for the same location—giving birth to what would become a Central Florida staple.
Over the past 15 years, we have grown far beyond that humble beginning. Thanks to the overwhelming support of the Orlando gaming community, we've built a reputation as the go-to destination to buy retro video games, consoles, accessories, and unforgettable in-store experiences.
