Amaterasu is the revered Sun Goddess of Nippon. Known in her past life as Shiranui to the villagers of Kamiki Village, she is both strong-willed and compassionate — never afraid to speak her mind, yet always ready to aid those in need.

By her side is her loyal companion Issun, a traveling artist who initially journeyed with her to learn the 13 Celestial Brush techniques. Over time, their partnership blossomed into a deep and meaningful friendship.

Amaterasu takes the form of a majestic white wolf adorned with striking crimson markings. As one of the legendary gods of the elements, she wields two sacred artifacts — the Celestial Brush and a Divine Instrument. Through her tail, shaped like a calligraphy brush, she channels the Celestial Brush to manipulate the natural elements of the Earth. Floating above her back is the Solar Reflector, a powerful Divine Instrument used to vanquish evil.

After a long absence, Amaterasu descended once more from the celestial plane as the reincarnation of Shiranui. Now, she must protect Nippon from the demon Orochi and his army of dark spirits who threaten the world again.
